THQ Nordic Has 29 Games in Development, 12 of Them Still Unannounced

THQ Nordic revealed it currently has 29 games in development, with 12 yet to be announced, joining 17 already-revealed titles including Darksiders 4 and the Road 96 sequel.

THQ reminds us it never rests for a moment

I think we can agree that last year wasn't exactly a great year for THQ Nordic. This year, the company's situation is a bit better, mainly thanks to the excellent Gothic 1 remake, which will be joined by two more Gothic games in the coming months. But if you ask THQ, it's really only just getting warmed up—over this past weekend, the company held a gaming showcase where it presented updates and new details for its games. The event itself was pretty lukewarm in my opinion, but the most interesting news came in the wrap-up post on X.

The post stated that as of now, THQ Nordic has about 29 games currently in development, with 12 of them still unannounced. It's clear to everyone that this is a massive number, and while we don't have the slightest clue what those 12 games are—and there aren't even rumors about them at the moment—they join 17 others that have already been announced, including Darksiders 4, which was revealed over a year ago and we haven't heard about since, or the sequel to Road 96. If I had to bet, I'd say we'll see some of those unannounced games in the coming weeks, with the ONL event being the main suspect.
