The Cronos Lazarus Expansion Has Been Officially Announced

Bloober Team has officially announced Cronos Lazarus, an expansion for last year's horror game Cronos: The New Dawn, revealing the origin story of The Warden character.

Last week we reported on a new game that was leaked as a sequel to Bloober Team's horror game from last year, Cronos: The New Dawn. The leaks themselves seemed relatively credible, and while part of this leak raised my expectations for more from a studio I'm very fond of, last night the rumors dissipated a bit, but not definitively. While we're waiting for news about the Silent Hill remake currently in development, the summer events are in full swing and with them come plenty of new announcements, new events (tonight we're expected to see the XBOX event), and now also Bloober Team's announcement.

What was initially leaked as a new game in Bloober Team's developing series was revealed last night as a new expansion for Cronos: The New Dawn called Cronos Lazarus. We don't learn much from the trailer, but from another post on the game's social media, we understand that we'll see the origin story of The Warden who accompanies our scout in the base game. Right now we don't have an official release date, but the expansion's launch window will be this coming winter, and you can already wishlist the expansion now.

Cronos: The New Dawn came out last year. Personally, I got a lot of enjoyment out of it when it was released, and it looks like there will be a reason to return to it again very soon with new content! Until we get more news about the expansion's release, what do you think about the announcement? Ready to return to New Dawn and explore more? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
