Sony's FlexStrike and Other Gaming Products Get Release Date

Sony has announced release dates for several new gaming products, including the FlexStrike wireless arcade stick launching August 1st alongside MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, a new 27-inch gaming monitor, and Pulse Elevate speakers.

We're just hours away from Sony's State of Play event, which has very high expectations surrounding it. But before Sony's big celebration begins, the company revealed yesterday the release dates for several of its new gaming products, including the FlexStrike—that wireless Arcade Stick that was first unveiled several months ago. Now we know that the FlexStrike is set to launch worldwide on August 1st alongside the release of MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. Pre-orders for the product will open on June 12th and it will cost around $200, though at this time we haven't received information about its release date and price locally.

Alongside the FlexStrike news, Sony announced that it also plans to launch a new 27-inch gaming monitor that includes a pretty neat feature of a built-in docking and charging station for DualSense controllers. The monitor will launch in the United States and Japan on August 27th at a price of $350, with pre-orders here also starting in June, and at this time the local launch and price for the monitor are unknown. The last product getting attention is the Pulse Elevate speakers, which were also revealed a few months ago when it was said they're headed for a launch "later this year" with pricing and release date to be announced in the future.
