Silent Hill f Getting Manga Adaptation With Exclusive Sixth Ending by the Game's Writer
The hit psychological horror game Silent Hill f is receiving a manga adaptation featuring a brand-new ending written exclusively by Ryukishi07, the game's original writer and creator of Higurashi: When They Cry.
Silent Hill f is getting the manga treatment, and it's bringing something special for fans. Developer Neobards Entertainment announced via the franchise's official X account that the psychological horror hit will receive a manga adaptation to celebrate its six-month anniversary, featuring illustrations by Ame Gokin and writing by Ryukishi07—the game's original writer and creator of Higurashi: When They Cry.
The most exciting detail? Ryukishi07 is penning a completely original sixth ending exclusively for the manga, expanding beyond the game's five original conclusions. The manga will be published on Kadokawa's Young Ace UP digital manga platform, though no release date has been announced yet.
For those unfamiliar, Silent Hill f launched on September 25, 2025 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game follows Shimizu Hinako as her secluded town of Ebisugaoka becomes consumed by a mysterious fog that transforms her home into a nightmarish hellscape. Developed by Neobards Entertainment with producer Motoi Okamoto, character design by kera, and the iconic Akira Yamaoka composing the soundtrack, the game has been a critical and commercial success.
The numbers speak for themselves: Silent Hill f exceeded one million units shipped worldwide by late September 2025 and took home four awards at The Horror Game Awards 2025. The franchise has already expanded beyond gaming with an official novel and various collaborations, making this manga adaptation another natural step in the game's growing multimedia presence.
