Official: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Revealed, Launching Next Year

A full decade after Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's launch, Bandai Namco and Dimps have announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, launching next year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.

A full decade has passed since the launch of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and now the moment has arrived for Bandai Namco and Dimps to announce the exciting sequel in the series, titled "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3." The game will launch next year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.

Beyond the fact that Xenoverse 3 is a sequel to one of the most beloved Dragon Ball game series of all time, the weight of the third game in the series is significant and multiplied due to the fact that this is apparently one of the last games developed in heavy and deep collaboration with the original creator of the franchise, Akira Toriyama, who passed away in 2024. The game was revealed in a fairly stunning trailer of nearly 4 minutes, which showcased the game world and among other things the new characters that players will be able to play as, which were fully designed by Toriyama.

At this moment we don't have much substantial information about the game regarding what it will offer us compared to previous games in the series, but it's safe to assume it will stick to the formula of its predecessors at least on a base level and from there deliver a classic Dragon Ball experience featuring plenty of beloved characters we'll be able to fight with and play as. We will of course continue to follow and update here whenever we receive new substantial and interesting information about this exciting project.
