Initial Trailer for Iron Man Game Leaked Online

After years of silence, the game looks very good

Between the chaos and all the games at Gamescom, we almost didn't cover this next topic. In recent days, a video leaked online showing us a trailer for the Iron Man game from EA that was announced a few years ago. The video, just over two and a half minutes long, shows us Tony Stark putting on his suit before he starts flying around New York, and in other parts we see a taste of the combat system and some of the missions we'll do in the game. The video has an August 2026 watermark confirming when it was recorded, but as you can see, the models in the trailer are early and far from finished, which means there are still several months until we see the game officially.

The first and more or less last time we heard about this game was when it was announced almost 4 years ago, and we almost forgot it existed. Now this is the first time since then that the game is making headlines, when shortly after the leak and unusually, EA confirmed in a tweet that the leaked video is authentic. The tweet read: "This didn't go as planned. But now you know and we have much more to show you. See you when we're ready." Beyond this response directly addressing the leak, we received no additional information about the game or when we're expected to see it, but the earliest date that seems logical to us is during the Game Awards ceremony in December, but even that's an ambitious guess.
