Ingrid's Gameplay in Street Fighter 6 Revealed

One of the Street Fighter series' most mysterious characters takes center stage with a gameplay showcase ahead of her release next month!

Many Street Fighter 6 players probably didn't expect the current Season Pass in certain respects. The return of Sagat and Alex was highly anticipated, the addition of M. Bison proved to be particularly successful, but among the more controversial decisions was undoubtedly the inclusion of Ingrid in this pass. While she's never really taken center stage, Ingrid isn't actually a new character in the Street Fighter universe—she appeared in various versions of Street Fighter 3 (specifically Alpha 3 Upper, which is included in Capcom Fighting Collection 2) and in an obscure game called Capcom Fighting All Stars. The choice to include her was interesting and, above all, unexpected, but now that we've seen her new design, it's time to see her gameplay as well!

I'll just say this as simply as possible: Ingrid's gameplay looks absolutely insane. It seems she has quite a few tools in her arsenal, which makes her look pretty complex as well. At the same time, for the first time it seems we have a zoner character who can give JP a run for his money—I don't think they're showing him against her in this trailer by accident. Ingrid's official release date is May 27, and we've already started seeing various leaks regarding what might be in the game's fourth season. While the credibility of some is questionable (and Tekken 8 players' tears might flow if some of them are true), it seems that the eyes of many Street Fighter 6 players are already looking ahead to June and Summer Games Fest!
