GTA VI Pre-Order Date Allegedly Leaked

Best Buy reportedly sent an email to members indicating that GTA VI pre-orders will begin on May 18th, though the information remains unconfirmed.

It's hard to find words that haven't already been said about GTA VI, the game that has long been crowned as the biggest game we've ever seen and which is expected, according to many, to reshape the gaming industry. It's been several months since we last heard about the game officially, and to the delight of many players and despite rumors of another delay, the launch date is still targeting this coming November. One detail that has pretty much everyone on the edge of their seats is a GTA VI gameplay video that hasn't been revealed yet, although there are rumors it could be released in the very near future.

Now we're getting reports that Best Buy, one of the largest retail chains in the United States, accidentally sent an email to members of its partner program announcing that pre-orders for GTA VI will begin on May 18th. It should be said that as of now, the authenticity of the email and the details within it have not yet been confirmed, and it's likely we won't hear anything from Rockstar about it, but considering the rumors and reports about another trailer that will apparently be a gameplay trailer and will be released soon, along with reports about updates the game's page has undergone behind the scenes, the picture looks much more logical. It's likely that with that same trailer we'll also get the announcement that pre-orders are available. All that's left for us at this point is to simply keep waiting for an official announcement.

GTA VI will launch on November 19th for current-gen consoles.
