GTA VI Appears Set to Receive a PS5 Pro Enhanced Version
Pre-orders for GTA VI have revealed that the game will support PS5 Pro Enhanced features, though Rockstar has not yet officially commented on the upgraded version.
Is this the best way to play?
Pre-orders for GTA VI opened last week with great excitement, and beyond the fact that the game's price in Israel is the highest in the world, players who browsed the product page on the PSN store discovered additional and interesting information about it. Every game uploaded to Sony's store receives several tags with general information, and GTA VI proudly displays tags confirming that the game will support the special features of the DualSense controller, alongside the PS5 Pro Enhanced tag given to games that have an enhanced version for Sony's more powerful console.
As of this writing, Rockstar has not directly addressed the existence of this version, but this is a relatively official confirmation of it. Additionally, it's unknown what improvements this PS5 Pro version will feature, but it's reasonable to assume we'll get improvements to image quality alongside better performance thanks to the additional processing power and PSSR capabilities, with many fans hoping these will be enough to achieve a stable 60FPS at a resolution approaching 4K. In recent days, Sony has launched a broad campaign stating that the PS5 is the best place to play GTA VI, but it's more likely the reference is to the PS5 Pro rather than the standard model. The marketing campaign for GTA VI has officially and fully begun, and it's likely that in the coming months we'll get details about the PS5 Pro version.
GTA VI launches on November 19 for PS5 and Series X|S.
