Playground Games has detailed the graphics and performance modes coming to Forza Horizon 6 on Xbox Series X|S when it launches next week. The info dropped in a larger post that also covered radio stations and accessibility features.

Both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S get two rendering modes – Quality and Performance – letting you choose between visual fidelity and higher framerates.

Xbox Series X runs native 4K at 30fps in Quality mode. Performance mode targets 4K but uses dynamic resolution scaling to lock 60fps. Xbox Series S runs 1440p at 30fps in Quality mode and 1080p at 60fps in Performance mode. Both modes use dynamic resolution scaling to hit their target framerates.

Forza Horizon 6 will feature nine radio stations and the largest song list in a Horizon game to date. Loyalty reward cars for playing previous Forza games were also detailed. If your Xbox GamerTag has played any Forza Horizon game or 2021's Forza Motorsport, you'll get the cover car from Forza Horizon through Forza Horizon 5, plus the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray that shared the cover of 2021. You receive these after completing the Tokyo City introductory race with Mei. One exception: Forza Horizon 4's cover car was the 2018 McLaren Senna, but the 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan replaces it here. Why the Senna is missing remains unclear, though automobile licensing is a notorious minefield.
