Crimson Desert System Requirements Revealed
Pearl Abyss has released the full system requirements for Crimson Desert ahead of its March 19 launch, revealing five performance tiers for PC and specifications for consoles, ROG Ally, and Mac.
The desert calls to you, on almost every platform
In just one week, we'll get the launch of Crimson Desert, which has slowly made its way from a relatively obscure game to one of the most anticipated titles of the year. With every trailer and piece of news we've received about it, the picture has become clearer. The game promises quite a lot, and if it manages to deliver on most of it, it will likely be one of the best role-playing games we've gotten so far. Last night we received a new driver from Nvidia that should support the game optimally, and alongside it, the full system requirements were also revealed.
The PC system requirements for Crimson Desert are divided into five tiers:
Minimum Requirements (1080p at 30FPS with upscaler):
- Processor: Intel i5 8500 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
- Graphics Card: AMD RX 5500 XT or Nvidia GTX 1060
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Storage: 150GB on SSD
Low Requirements (1080p at 30FPS):
- Processor: Intel i5 8500 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
- Graphics Card: AMD RX 6500 XT or Nvidia GTX 1660
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Storage: 150GB on SSD
Recommended Requirements (1080p at 60FPS or 4K at 30FPS):
- Processor: Intel i5 11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- Graphics Card: AMD RX 6700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2080
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Storage: 150GB on SSD
High Requirements (1440p at 60FPS):
- Processor: Intel i5 12600K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- Graphics Card: AMD RX 7700 XT or Nvidia RTX 4070
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Storage: 150GB on SSD
Ultra Requirements (4K at 60FPS):
- Processor: Intel i5 13600K or AMD Ryzen 5 7700X
- Graphics Card: AMD RX 9070 XT or Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Storage: 150GB on SSD

As can be seen from the requirements and the very clear division into performance tiers, it appears that Crimson Desert is expected to have good optimization and allow a large number of players to try it. An interesting detail that immediately caught our eye is the requirement for only 16GB of memory across all tiers, whether minimum or ultra requirements—undoubtedly excellent news in these times of memory crisis. Alongside the PC system requirements, the studio published the requirements and settings the game will run at on consoles, ROG Ally, and even Mac. The full requirements can be seen in the images.
