Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Includes a Small Tribute in Memory of Vince Zampella

The development team behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has included a special screen in the game's end credits, dedicating the title to the memory of Infinity Ward co-founder Vince Zampella.

Until his death at the end of last year, we were used to hearing the name Vince Zampella associated with Battlefield 6 and Apex Legends. However, before Zampella worked at EA, he was known as one of the founders of Infinity Ward, the studio that brought us the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. This week, the newest title in the series launches, which also concludes the current Modern Warfare reboot. Before this beloved franchise comes to an end, Modern Warfare pays tribute to Zampella one last time.

Players who reach the end of the game and its credits will see that the Modern Warfare 4 development team decided to add an extra screen dedicating the game to Zampella's memory. This tribute is very moving and shows that even after all these years, and despite the fierce legal battles between Zampella and Activision and his move to its biggest competitor, EA, the company and the studio still show him their gratitude one final time.
