Battlefield 6 Season 4 Revealed
Battlefield 6's fourth season launches July 21st, introducing naval combat alongside iconic maps like Wake Island, classic weapons including the AUG and VSSM, and legendary aircraft such as the F14 and F18.
We've known for a while now that Battlefield 6's fourth season was expected to begin sometime during the summer months, bringing with it major news for the game—the addition of naval combat alongside a ton of new features. Last night we got the Season 4 trailer, which gave us a glimpse at what all the new content will look like once the season launches next Tuesday, July 21st.
The new trailer gave us a much deeper look at the two maps we already knew would be joining the new season: Tsuru Reef and the (once again) refreshed legendary Wake Island. On the weapons front, we see the AUG returning alongside the VSS, which will be called the VSSM this time, along with two additional weapons. As for vehicles, we're getting highly significant additions in the air and at sea with the iconic F14 (with variable geometry) and F18 aircraft launching from aircraft carriers, and even a small, surprising Top Gun reference at the end of the trailer. At this point, it's still unknown whether there will be an option to change weapons loadouts for aircraft—a feature the player community has been begging for since the game's launch. Between the waves, we'll encounter the new battleships being added to the game, the RCB-90, which will come with an extensive weapons arsenal including a cannon, the ability to fire mortars, and even launch torpedo missiles against naval targets. As with previous seasons, Redsec and Portal will also receive additional content as part of the update, which will be free for all players.
As mentioned, Battlefield 6's fourth season will begin on July 21st.
